The Oprah project – day 1 December 15, 2008

A while back I decided to try the “Oprah project”. I saw this new “detox diet” on the show and apperently its ment to make you a happier and healthier person. So far; this is day one so Im kind of struggeling. You’re ment to exclude nicotine, cafffine, gluten, meat products and sugar. What worries me the most is taking away meat and sugar. Nicotine I can do without but meat -oh boy do I love it! And sugar … well all us girls have cravings. However, I’ve been thinking if maybe I should stick with gluten – it can’t be that bad to eat bread? Within resonable amounts of course.
Apart from this; I’ve created a little “love yourself” programme that should be followed everyday. 3 hours per day is dedicated to you. 1 hour exerices, 1 hour medidiation and 1 hour studying/reading. This should make yourself calmer and more focused. Especially the meditation. Sitting in a room with complete silence for 1 hour is a great way to clear your head out and have a good nights sleep.
Anyways, I’ll get back to you guys how Im surviving day one & what I’ve eaten.
